Food for Thought

Honeybees pollinate 30% of all the food that Americans consume and pollinate 85% of all flowering plants as well as 90% of all pollen transfers on our orchard crops. One honey bee can visit 50-100 flowers during each collection trip making 12 or ore trips a day to gather pollen or nectar from several thousand flowers in a day.
