It all started here. Actually, it started a few years back. A honeybee flew into my ear. Seriously, right down the canal, I could hear the buzzing in my brain. I think it was on purpose, it literally entered my head to plant an idea in my mind I couldn’t shake. Soon, I was reading everything I could get my hands on about bees, their lifecycle, communication, complex, interwoven social structure and how important they are to our planet. It’s fascinating stuff. And all that led to here. A beehive in my backyard and the gift of a little honey at the end of summer. The symbiotic relationship that exists between nature, bees and humans is special. For millennia, we have engaged in a reciprocal dance with bees and nature; honey is the result of this rare, mutually beneficial relationship.  

As backyard beekeepers, we believe in supporting the ethical and ecological impact bees have on our environment. We also believe there’s a better way to drink- whether it be a cocktail or mocktail. One that doesn’t pollute the world or our health like refined sugar or high fructose corn syrup but amplifies a beneficial, symbiotic relationship between humanity, bees, pollination and nature. Our organic honey-based cocktail/mocktail mixers were created to celebrate our social nature. It’s no coincidence that our most important ingredient comes from another highly social society that renews, regenerates and takes care of each other. Cheers to bees.
